Bauser's
About This Spot
Stepping into Bauser's is like finding a well-loved secret tucked into the heart of Dunedin’s neighborhood scene. The moment you arrive, there’s an easygoing current that flows through the air — a blend of familiar faces, warm hellos from the staff, and the faint hum of conversations that feel both lively and inviting. It’s the kind of place where time slows just enough to savor the moments between sips and laughter.
The atmosphere here breathes music and community. Local bands regularly fill the space with vibrant, heartfelt performances that draw in a crowd eager to be part of something real. The energy is upbeat without feeling forced, making it a natural gathering spot for everyone from longtime locals to newcomers curious to explore Dunedin’s authentic nightlife.
Bauser’s unpretentious menu compliments the vibe seamlessly. Whether you’re nursing a cold Yuengling draft or mixing things up with a fiery shot of Bullitt Bourbon, the drink choices invite you to relax and enjoy your time. The food, thoughtfully simple and comfort-driven, echoes the feel of the place — from savory potato balls that pair perfectly with a casual pint to the satisfying Cuban sandwich that hints at homegrown flavors.
Outside, the dog-friendly patio offers a bright, airy retreat where good company and a breezy atmosphere come standard. It’s easy to see why this bar doubles as a hub for special local events, like Mardi Gras parades, where the crowd’s shared enthusiasm transforms the neighborhood into a spirited celebration.
Bauser’s is less about the flash and more about the honest connections made over a well-poured drink and the sound of music that lifts the spirit. It’s a place where the staff’s genuine care for every guest quietly anchors the experience, making each visit feel like coming home to a community that appreciates you.

Great little bar that has happy happy hour every week day from 1100-1400. The bartender was great. The folks here are welcoming Live music and a party atmosphere. Great place. Today is my first visit but I'm sure I will be back

I was told about this little place two years ago and I love the atmosphere of the bands the karaoke, the food, especially the staff. They’re so friendly and nice and would do anything for you. Thanks again Bausers for always taking care of me and my family. See you soon

Absolute must see place before or after a game at TD Park. Don't miss out. Absolutely loved this spot and will stop by every time I get the chance to come back and watch a game at TD Park. Also....you can pay for parking there and you get a free beer with paid parking. Not sure how much parking is.

Bauser’s is a great local bar in Dunedin, a couple blocks from downtown. I love this place but it’s small. The band usually takes up most of what little dance floor they have. There is an outdoor patio. I don’t think they have food but they do have pizzas they can pop in one of those countertop ovens. They have a food truck out back. I’ve seen some good bands here and it’s a great place for the over 35 year old people. I’ve seen younger people but this is kind of an older crowd from 35-60. It’s a lot of fun, but it’s hard to get a seat. You may want to get there early to get one.
